October Math Centers for Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade

Boo y'all! Can you feel the excitement in the air? Pumpkins everywhere, candy everywhere, giant costume heads at Target… It must be getting close to Halloween! I absolutely love this time of year.

We've established routines, the kids know how things work, and (hopefully) most of the class can carry on without much redirection. This is the perfect time to enjoy math centers. (And put all those absolutely adorable mini erasers from Target to good use!)

The kindergarten math centers are full of games for practicing identifying shapes, recognizing numbers and quantities, putting numbers in order, and more.

The count the room center is my favorite! So fall-y!

First grade centers focus on addition and subtraction, base 10 numbers, skip counting and more.

Each unit has at least one graphing activity with questions to go with it.

And second grade's math centers work on finding the missing number in addition and subtraction problems, using larger base 10 numbers, skip counting, and more.

You could laminate these centers and have the kids write the answers on the sunflowers, or just have them write on the paper—your choice.
